As a quiet only child in Burma, and moving to New York as a teenager by myself, I've always accepted solitude as my artistic journey. Songwriting and music production became the platform for me to build my world. From crafting the melody to stem mixing, I'm selfishly involved in the writing process. It's important as a woman to stake our place in the male-dominated music production industry. Our voices should be curated by us.
YUNICE is an American Chinese singer songwriter born in Brooklyn, New York with family from Macau and Burma.
